The Sun Cities Senior Softball League National League Committee is responsible for the management of the National League. The National League Committee attempts to provide parity among players. It is the National League Committee that oversees the day to day operations of the National League.
The concept is to allow players of somewhat similar skills and athletic ability to be grouped together in leagues and then divided among teams so that each team should play teams of similar skill levels and athletic ability. This concept was developed as a safety issue as well as to allow all member softball players to play softball and enjoy the fellowship which is present in team sports.
The National League is a more relaxed atmosphere than the Other leagues, and some players prefer playing in the National League regardless of their skill level. Generally, the National League was created to allow players with lesser or declining skill levels and athletic ability to play a game that is somewhat more fun, but equally competitive as the Other Leagues. Our goal is for any club member who wants to play softball to be assigned to a team and participate in our games.
Online SCORESHEETS are designed for managers to simply fill out and give to the scorekeeper at game time.
