Game 1: Western Bank vs Edward Jones 

2 teams fighting for 2nd place in the standings matched up in game 1 of the day. Top of 1st Western went 3 up 3 down and Jones put up a solo run 1-0. Top of 2nd the Bankers put up max 4 runs on 7 straight hits 4-1. Jones blanked in bottom half. 

3rd inning this time Western blanked and the Investors put up max 4 runs on 5 hits after Greg Cummings tripled and Mark Sertic doubled, 5-4 Jones. Neither team scored in the 3rd or 4th inning. Western scored 2 runs after Pete Nardella doubled to take lead 6-5. Jones couldn’t answer as the score remained 6-5. 

7th inning Western added another run from a Larry Adams RBI 1B now 7-5. Bottom of 7th Jones rallied for 2 runs after an Eric Sorber lead off double sending this game into extra innings 7-7. Neither team scored ending in a Kiss your Sister tie.

Game 2: Camino Del Sol VS Classic Car Wash 

Camino trying to end a 5 game losing streak jumped out with 3 runs in the top of 1st on 6 hits. Classic scored a solo run after Dan Gates lead off with a double 3-1 after 1 complete. Neither team scored in the 2nd still 3-1. Top of 3rd Camino added a solo run on a Gary Mulkins RBI single 4-1. Car Wash scored 2 runs to close the gap 4-3. 

The gravediggers stalled in the 4th and 5th innings as Classic shined up with 6 runs on 8 hits including a Mark Landauis double over the same 2 innings 9-4 Classic. Camino scored a solo run in 6th leaving the bases loaded and a solo run in the 7th after a 4-6-3 double play ends the game 9-6 Car Wash.

Game 3: Liberty Buick vs Home Smart 

It’s a good thing Home Smart secured its house a couple weeks ago as they now entered into uncharted territories losing its last 3 games in a row. Liberty Buick never trailed in this game as it was tied 1-1 heading into the top of 4th when the Buicks fueled up and tuned up all 10 cylinders scoring max 4 runs in back to back innings on 12 hits, the big blows a double and 3 run Home Run from Brant Williams 9-3 Liberty.

The Buicks added 2 more runs in the 6th extended the lead to 11-3. Home Smart started a rally scoring 3 runs after Cliff Chapin doubled in 2 runs but was caught off 2nd base to end the game 11-6.
