Angels in the Outfield ๐ฅ๐
Supporting our softball family on and off the field.
Angels in the Outfield has been a special part of the Sun City and Sun City West Senior Softball community since 2001. What began as a group of caring softball spouses looking after players and their families has grown into a dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting our softball family and giving back to the community we call home.
Our mission is simple: when someone in our softball family is hurting, recovering, grieving, celebrating, or simply needs to know someone cares, the Angels are there.
We support players and their immediate families through illnesses, injuries, surgeries, and difficult life events. We offer encouragement, help communicate needs within our softball community, and honor the players we have lost through memorials and remembrance.
Our work also extends beyond the softball field. Through community outreach and our “Pitch In” campaigns, the Angels bring players, families, and volunteers together to help those in need. Over the years, these efforts have included food drives, toy drives, charitable collections, and other projects benefiting our local community.
Angels in the Outfield is about much more than softball. It’s about friendship, compassion, community, and taking care of one another.
We celebrate together. We support one another. We remember those we’ve lost. And when one of our own needs a little extra help, our softball family shows up.
Because once you’re part of our softball family, you’re never standing in the outfield alone. ๐๐ฅ
